We were honored to welcome a dynamic group of students participating in the AREA Youth Tours program, which offers high school students a unique opportunity to explore leadership, government, civics education and the vital role electric cooperatives play in their communities. Through educational trips, hands-on experiences, and meaningful connections, these tours empower young people to become informed and engaged citizens. The Alabama Rural Electric Association of Cooperatives (AREA) is dedicated to powering students across the state while providing essential tools to the next generation of leaders.
