Pre-Law Spring Book Club

The Judge Frank M. Johnson, Jr. Institute will host a virtual book club for undergraduate students interested in law school and other legal professions. 2025 Scholars Conference

Join education and legal professionals in Montgomery, Alabama for a multi-day conference on incorporating historic court cases into middle and high school instruction. This conference for educators will take a pedagogical look at the Constitutional arguments of landmark court cases from the Civil Rights Era. In honor of Law Day 2025, The Judge Johnson Institute is highlighting recent remarks from Attorney Fred Gray. In conversation with Dr. Robert White of Alabama State University earlier this year, Mr. Gray discussed his time as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s attorney and his work in America’s Courtroom in front of Judge Frank Johnson.
